Mens Hats – Get refined for the Summer – Look Epic!
Right, where do I start?
For some of my more hard core readers I imagine you’ve been wondering where the hell I’ve been for the last 8 months. Well, I can confirm that I have not died and I am still alive. A combination of not having the time and work and life commitments have meant that the site has been neglected. The site is now desperately in need for another article to be posted, hence why I have found the time to write another article.
From time to time I may go missing but ultimately this website is for the enjoyment of all hence why I set this site up. Should any one like to get in contact and are looking to collaborate in making this site the best it can be then please drop me an email at [email protected]. Ideally it would be nice to hear from avid bloggers in similar categories to ‘Men Hairstyles’, maybe people who are really good at producing great online content.
Ok, so enough of that and on to this article.
As some of you may remember I did a article back in November 2014 called ‘Mens Hats – Hairstyles with Hats – Part 1‘ which was about people rocking hats while attempting to pull off a great haircut at the same time. Well this article is the follow up to that article, I had collated a fair few pictures which I thought were worth showing so please enjoy the pics below.
The first picture below is a typical scene which we have all come across before, in fact though I have not had the balls to go out in public looking like this chap I have seen people wear the ‘baseball cap’ the wrong way round while out and about. Mined you, I have tried this in the comfort of my own home and I looked a little bit daft but surprisingly this can work in the right context and its heavily dependent on what clothes your wearing and what vibe your giving off.
A decent short haircut is needed and if your going to wear a hat then you can forget about using some products to shape your hair because you will find straight away that all that effort will go to pot once you place your hat on your head.
This chap below has short Afro hair where the hair line has not receded.
The next guy below is wearing a ‘fedora hat’ and he has a very short haircut, possibly a grade 1 or 2. The hair on the back of the neck is a tapered nape style which is more subtle than if he had gone for a blocked nape. This hat oozes class and is very subtle on the eye.
I have added this photo below because it shows you what the hair can look like at the back of the neck. This guy is wearing a cowboy hat which accompanies his medium curly hair. But this hat would suit most types of hairstyles. The cowboy hat started life in the mid 19th century and was influenced by Mexican culture, it was used by North Americans and is now a very popular hat to wear.
This hat below looks like across between a Panama hat and a trilby hat but may be a Borsalino hat, if someone knows then please drop me an email. Certainly a vintage hat with style, which really works if you have very short hair. As the hat is small you really don’t want the hat sat on a big lump of hair as it would look ridiculous.
This article wouldn’t be complete with out the beanie hat which in this case has been knitted. The beanie hat has always been very popular mainly due to the flexibility of it. The hat fits all head shapes and its a bit like wearing a tea cozy on your head. The hat is flexible enough to put in your coat pocket and it can certainly keep you warm when its cold outside. The hat is designed to certainly show off the front of your hair and this type of hat really works if you have medium length hair.
Blimey first new article done in a long time, stay tuned for more articles soon!
